So we're down to the wire now. The baby is due in about 20 days, but since our doc will be in India for the two weeks surrounding the due date, we're hoping baby makes an early appearance! So far the doc guesses baby is about 6 lbs (but these guesses can be off by as much as 2 lbs!). He's head down which is a good sign.
Meanwhile, the kicks in the ribs continue, as does mild heartburn. He also gets the hiccups about once a day. Sleep is becoming more and more challenging for me and when I try to roll over to get comfortable from one side to the other, I feel like a turtle trying to flip from its back!
We're very anxious to meet the little guy. Our next appointment is in about a week and then we'll have a better clue if he's coming early or not.
